1. Check Dates, Centers, and other notifications
The Korean Cultural Center of New Delhi, in association with its consulate and various educational institutions, conducts the TOPIK exam in India.
In 2025, KCC will conduct the first exam on 13 April 2025 and then again on 19 October 2025.
Exam | Registration Period | Test Dates | Test Tming | Result Dates | 200 to 460, depending on the center |

Before applying for TOPIK, collect all the information. It comprises TOPIK test dates, registration deadlines, fees, and locations.
Because of high demand, limited seats, and a few testing centers, TOPIK registrations are rising. To secure your place, applying as soon as the application forms are released is advisable.
As of today, Indians can take only the TOPIK Paper-based test. The TOPIK Internet-based test and TOPIK Speaking exams are unavailable.
Visit the official KCCI website (https://india.korean-culture.org/EN/) and social pages, like FB, X, and Instagram, to track the latest notifications. You will get timely updates about the dates, locations, fees, application links, and registration deadlines.
The exam has two levels: TOPIK I (1–2) and TOPIK II (3–6). You can choose either or both. These levels help you set practical, knowledge-based goals, prepare for the exam, and check your progress.
2. Collect Required Documents in advance
Registration typically opens only for a few days, and seats fill quickly, often within the first few hours. Thus, you must prepare and gather all necessary documents and information before the first day of registration.
The needs may change, so check the latest required documents. Before you register, make sure you have:
- A passport-sized photo (recent and clear JPG format picture under 200KB size).
- A valid photo ID (Passport, Aadhaar, Voter ID, or any government-issued Identity card). The document must be valid (not expired) and have your name, photo, and date of birth.
- Your personal details like name, date of birth, and contact details.
- Your signature must be in JPG File Format under 100KB.
3. Fill Out the Application Form
Once the KCCI starts registration in the morning, sign up using their Google form within a few minutes. The applications are on a first-come-first-served basis, so apply as quickly as possible.
Complete the registration form using your personal information. You need your full name (from your official ID), gender, date of birth, and contacts (phone number and email address).
Then, upload your photo and the required documents. Submit the form as soon as possible to secure your seat.
You must fill out the form accurately and not submit the same form twice or for multiple centers to avoid rejection. Once submitted, you cannot change any information, documents, or test centers.
You must also pick your preferred level (TOPIK I or II) and a test center (Delhi, Chennai, Manipur, Ranchi, Bangalore, or any other listed city). Do note that testing centers are subject to change.
4. Pay the Exam Fee
After submitting your form, you will get a confirmation email with payment instructions. Don’t make the payment until you get this email.
The fee for TOPIK I is ₹1200, whereas ₹1500 is for TOPIK II. If you want to take both, the cost is ₹2500.
You can pay through payment options like bank transfer, UPI, debit, or credit card.
5. Get Confirmation and Download Admission Ticket
Once you’ve completed all the steps, KCCI will send an acknowledgment email.
You can save this email containing your registration number and other details confirming your registration for the next TOPIK test in India.
You can also print the admission ticket or confirmation email for the TOPIK exam day.

To avoid problems on exam day, read your admission ticket’s location, time, and special instructions.
