As of today, Indians can take only the TOPIK paper-based test. The TOPIK internet-based test and TOPIK Speaking exams are unavailable.
Visit the official KCCI website and social pages (Facebook, X, and Instagram) to stay up to date on the latest notifications. You will receive timely updates on dates, locations, fees, application links, and registration deadlines.
The exam has two levels: TOPIK I (1–2) and TOPIK II (3–6). You can choose either or both. These levels help you set practical, knowledge-based goals, prepare for the exam, and check your progress.
2. Collect Required Documents in advance
Registration typically opens only for a few days, and seats fill quickly, often within the first few hours. Thus, you must prepare and gather all necessary documents and information before the first day of registration.
The needs may change, so check the latest required documents. Before you register, make sure you have:
- A passport-sized photo (recent and clear JPG format picture under 200KB size).

Then, upload your photo and the required documents. Submit the form promptly to secure your seat.
